In this video, the teachers talk about using past modals to talk about the "imaginary past". That means what would have happened if you had done something differently in the past.

Today we can look at pages 72-73 in your book. I'll email you a pdf file too.

Open your book to page 72 and look at the Past Modals grammar chart. Read the examples and the Grammar Watch information.

Read about the three situations in the Practice 1 exercise and check which sentence (a. or b.) best completes the reading.

Now look at page 73: Do Practice 2.
