Using "good" and "well" in English

Hi everyone,

When we were zooming yesterday, Cindy asked about the difference between "good" and "well".

Let's look at some information to understand the difference:

Here is a blog post from grammarly.com

More information from grammar book.com

Good examples from yourdictionary.com

We also talked about the phrases: "very good" and "very well" - this can be confusing sometimes.

Correct: I like that picture very much. (or: I really like that picture. or: I love that picture.)

Incorrect: I like that picture very well.

More info about "very good" and "very well" from wordreference.com

Extra challenge: very, pretty, really, so and too

Look at this info from lovemyesl.com

I hope that helps !
